Charter and Rates

Boston Fishstix Guides work the waters of Boston Harbor, Massachusetts Bay, and Cape Cod Bay for striped bass, bluefish, little and big tunas with fly fishing and light tackle gear. Please visit facebook for special trip and destination information.Charters are very flexible with times and tides, allowing BFX Guides to cater to resident Bostonians or to visitors. A typical half-day trip will start early in the morning (5/6 am) or later in the afternoon (3/4 pm).

Rates for two anglers:

We can accommodate more anglers upon request by providing a two-boat charter for up to six (6) people. Children are more than welcome but please notify the Captain in advance. Trips may be canceled due to bad weather at any time, at the discretion of the Captain. A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking.

Come prepared and we’ll have FUN! Fishing with us for striped bass or tuna with fly and light tackle equipment is truly a unique and memorable experience. When conditions are right we like to sight cast to schools of fish feeding on the surface, often with floating flies and lures, with fly rods and  spinning tackle. It is hard to imagine a greater thrill in fishing than seeing huge bluefin tuna crash a popper or a big bass gulp a fly in a few feet of water! The hunt is sometimes intense and requires great skill on the part of the angler. Come ready for what the day might throw at us and we’ll  have a great time. Rich is a licensed US Coast Guard Captain, fully insured, and ready to handle the water with the finest boats and equipment available. All trips practice catch and release techniques but we are happy to fillet and pack a fish for the table as well. No alcohol is allowed onboard.Fishing depends on tide and weather but to allow for the best opportunities we recommend at least a six-hour trip. Full days of fishing can always be arranged.
